BRISTOL, RI– On Wednesday, February 17th, 2021, the State of Rhode Island announced the updated vaccination registration process for residents.
Beginning Monday, February 22nd, 2021, residents age 65 years and older will be eligible to schedule their COVID-19 vaccination appointment. Moving forward, all new vaccination appointments should be done through the State-Run Vaccination Sites or Select Local Pharmacies.
Residents can register at the State-Run Vaccination Sites in two different ways:
- Online – Please visit www.vaccinateri.org/.
- By Phone – The phone number is 844-930-1779.
Alternatively, residents can schedule a vaccination appointment through select CVS or Walgreens pharmacies.
“The Town of Bristol is committed to helping residents get the COVID-19 vaccine in the quickest, most efficient manner,” said Bristol Town Administrator Steven Contente. “Bristol will continue to vaccinate the residents on our 75+ waitlist and work with the State as they consolidate the registration process.”
Bristol residents age 75+ that pre-registered for the vaccine through the Bristol-Run Vaccination Site will remain on the town’s waitlist. As vaccine doses become available, a town representative will contact residents on the town waitlist to schedule their first vaccination appointment.
