Keep Bristol Clean: town-wide cleanup needs volunteers

Keep Bristol Clean will host its 34th Annual town-wide cleanup on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. 

The event will begin at the Town of Bristol Department of Public Works, 111 Mt. Hope Ave, Bristol, RI, where refreshments, including coffee and donuts, will be served and participants will pick up collection bags.

Groups will set out to various locations around Bristol to collect litter.

The cleanup will take place rain or shine.

Volunteers are needed!

Come to the DPW on Saturday. If you’d like to clean up a specific area, let the organizers know when you arrive, or join a group to be assigned to a location.

Many of Bristol’s open spaces and natural areas will be addressed this year. 

What to wear:

  • Long sleeve shirt
  • Long pants
  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Work gloves

No pre-registration is needed.

Keep Bristol Clean is being organized by the Town of Bristol Conservation Commission, Thrive Outside, Save Bristol Harbor, the Boy Scouts Troop 6 and Cub Scouts Pack 6.
