Town Council

The Bristol Town Council is the legislative body responsible for setting town policy. Town Council members are elected and serve a term of two years. Council meetings are held on a monthly basis at Town Hall (10 Court Street) and can be viewed live on Full Channel on Channel 17.

Petition the Council

Petitions must be returned to the Town Clerk’s Office prior to the Town Council submission deadline in order to appear on the docket of the meeting for review and possible action.

It is Council policy that action may not be taken on petitions unless recommendations, if necessary, from appropriate departments are received prior to the Council meeting.
