Building Inspection

The Building Official is responsible for issuing permits related to areas including building, plumbing, electrical, demolition, fences, and drainage. The Building Official conducts regular site inspections, completing a final summary report of findings prior to providing a Certificate of Occupancy.

Apply for a Permit

Applications for a building permit, mechanical permit, sign permit, electrical permit, plumbing permit, demolition permit, moving permit, fence permit, solar permit, and property maintenance complaints should be submitted online through the Bristol e-permitting system, Viewpoint Cloud. Please be aware that it can take up to two weeks for permit approval and that required documents and drawings must be submitted in PDF form.
