Bristol Provides COVID-19 Update for March 17th

As the Town of Bristol continues to monitor and respond to COVID-19 concerns, the Town would like to provide residents with several important updates:

  • On Tuesday, March 17, 2020, the Town of Bristol created a COVID-19 Volunteer Application Form. Community members interested in volunteering may be asked to do grocery runs for the Town’s vulnerable populations. Should the Town require additional assistance, there will be an update to the volunteer form. The application is available on the Town of Bristol website at this link: https://bristolri.gov/FormCenter/Town-Administrator-7/COVID19-Volunteer-Application-105.
  • Essential public meetings will continue as scheduled, including Bristol’s budget workshops. Following Governor Gina Raimondo’s Executive Order 20-04, the Town of Bristol will limit attendance to twenty-five (25) people. A public copy of the proposed FY21 budget is available at the Bristol U.S. Post Office (515 Hope Street Bristol, RI 02809).
  • With more residents utilizing disposable wipes, Bristol’s Water Pollution Control (WPC) Department reminds residents not to flush wipes. The Town of Bristol’s WPC Department thanks residents for their cooperation.
