Please Note: Cars that are parked in emergency lots must be moved within one hour of the parking ban being lifted. Thank you for your cooperation.

BRISTOL, RI-The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Bristol, Rhode Island for tomorrow, January 7th, 2022, between 1:00 AM-7:00 PM. Snow accumulation is forecasted to be between 5-8 inches.
In preparation for the winter storm, the Town of Bristol is taking the following precautions:
- Town Hall will have a 4-hour delayed opening on January 7th, 2022. Town Hall will be open from 12:00 PM-4:00 PM.
- All classes and programs at the Quinta-Gamelin Community Center have been cancelled for January 7th, 2022.
- The Bristol Transfer Station will be closed January 7th, 2022.
- A parking ban will go into effect starting at midnight (12:00 AM EST) tomorrow, January 7th, 2022, until further notice.
During the parking ban, all vehicles must be moved off the street to accommodate emergency vehicles and crews.
At this time, the Town is planning to collect trash and recycling as previously scheduled for Friday (01/07/2022).
Please Note: Due to the New Years holiday, trash/recycling collection is on a one day delay for the week of 1/3/2022. Residents that normally have their trash collected by the Town on Thursday will have it collected on Friday (01/07/2022). Residents that normally have their trash collected by the Town on Friday will have it collected on Saturday (01/08/2022).
