BRISTOL, RI– On Wednesday, December 22nd, 2021, the Town of Bristol announced several updates to its COVID-19 response efforts.
COVID-19 Safety Protocols at Town Buildings
As of Monday, December 20th, 2021, a Face Mask or Proof of Vaccination is required at all Town Buildings per RI Executive Order 21-116. This Executive Order is in effect until January 18th, 2022.
Municipal COVID-19 Vaccination & Booster Clinics
The Bristol Fire Department will operate a COVID-19 vaccine & booster clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays through January 2022. Appointments can be scheduled online by visiting here or by calling Mary Ann Quinn, Bristol’s Coordinator of Senior Services, at 401-253-1611 ext. 606. Limited spaces are available, however, residents are encouraged to check back frequently for additional openings.
State of Rhode Island Rapid Testing Site
On Tuesday, December 22nd, 2021, The State of Rhode Island opened a new rapid testing site at 655 Metacom Avenue (Former Benny’s). Appointments are required. To schedule your test, please visit portal.ri.gov or call 401-222-8022.
