The Town of Bristol has implemented a "No Bin, No Barrel" ordinance. Any rubbish to be picked up curbside must be accompanied by a recycling bin at the time of rubbish pickup. If not, the rubbish will be left behind.

  • E-Waste recycling can be brought to the Barrington DPW. Click link for hours and location
  • Cardboard for curbside pickup will be no larger than 3 feet in any direction, broken down and bundled
  • mixed recyclables for curbside pickup must be in either the town issued bin or a clearly labled bin no larger than the size of the town issued bin (currently 22 gallons)

  • Curbside pickup for recycling runs the same days as rubbish routes (pickup time may vary - See menu to the left)

  • Recycling bins are available at the DPW office. Residents are eligible for one free bin, per household, per year. each additional bin is $5.00.
